How we work together

As coaching may be new to you, I thought that I would describe what it would be like if we work together.
Here are a few questions that may be in your mind at the moment and I've done my best to answer them. If you have any additional questions then please feel free to e-mail me.
Where do we work together?
You may think that we will have to meet up on a regular basis, but this is not usually the case. Most sessions are undertaken over the telephone, meaning we can work from anywhere. This also ensures that time and travelling is kept to a minimum, so that your already hectic music schedule is not disrupted or added to.
Will we meet up at all?
If it is practicable for us to meet for some of the sessions then we can arrange this. For instance, we could meet up for the initial consultation to discuss what specific issues you are struggling with in your music career and what results you wish to gain. It would also be a chance to get to know each other and decide whether we can work together. However, meeting up is not essential as stated above and is completely up to you.
How often are the calls?
This is your choice and depends on your busy music schedules and what feels right for you. Some clients wish to keep them strictly to weekly calls; others prefer longer periods between calls.
How long do the sessions last?
As you lead a very busy life in the music industry, you may be worried about how long each session may last. On average, calls last about 1 hour but we don't constantly clock watch, so some may be slightly longer or shorter. If you have to fix a specific time span for a call, we can accommodate that.
How do I make progress by working with you?
In addition to the weekly calls you'll find yourself working on agreed actions points. I may ask you to put something into practice that we have discussed during the session, to see how it works for you.
For example, there could be a strategy that you have come up with that will help you manage your time more effectively, so that you are not running late for all of your appointments with your Manager, your hairdresser, the recording studio et al.
How confidential is this service?
Absolutely confidential. It is essential for you to feel confident in this. Contact details and content of the sessions are never shared with anyone without your express permission.
I am aware that many of my clients are, or will be, in the media spotlight. Thus, there is a definite need for confidentiality. Should you wish for me to sign a confidentiality contract, I am more than willing to do so.
How much does this service cost?
Each package has a fixed price (see individual packages for average duration) As each package is tailored to your individual needs, it is difficult to state how much your package will cost until I speak with you. I therefore offer complimentary consultations for every potential client to explore with you what you want to achieve and how you want to work with me. Please contact me to schedule your complimentary consultation call.
Is this service like Counseling?
No, counseling is more about dealing with specific issues you have by looking into your past to see how you have got to where you are now. Whereas, this coaching service is an extremely powerful and empowering process that is about you moving forward from where you are now, to achieving what and where you want to go from now on, in your music career and life.
